changing a New Video concept Into Viral Content

Introduction

Wahdle had just started a brand new series on his channel, the overall concept was good and unique but the editing needed some improvement.

The Approach

I worked with Wahdle to change up the editing style while keeping the main idea behind the content recognisable. This involved:

• we made sure we covered all of the information that the viewer was anticipating while controlling the video length
• optimized the hooks to improve the click through rates and retention
• added visual transitions as well as sound effects to keep the viewer engaged
• created a consistent style that viewers will recognize and want to return to

The Results

The refined editing approach paid off significantly. The videos began performing well above expectations, with multiple videos hitting 100K+ views and even one of the videos achieving a 29.2X outlier compared to the usual content.
